Ninjas, this is it: The Official Announcement that you didn’t know you’ve been waiting for.

This year at Orange Skies, we are going to set the Large Formation Head Up Colorado record and Female Large Formation Skydiving Colorado record. That’s right; we’re going to make our first year at Fort Morgan a year to remember and we’re going to set some records.

Oh now you’re listening? Good.

Ladies, we’re going to break the record with a 20+ woman formation this year. As part of our efforts to build up the belly community in Colorado, we’re going to focus on building up the skills of women belly flyers throughout the year to get ready for this event.

Now that you’re burning with curiosity and filled with questions, let’s dig in.

When is it? TBD. Suffice to say, later this year. More information will be coming soon.

How are we going to prep? We’re going to have a number of skills camps run by locals and experts brought in to help us prepare.

When are the skills camps? The first one is May 19th! Future skills camps are TBD.

What do I have to do to be in it? You have to prove that you’re up for the challenge. First step, reach out to Tamara Bartlett and tell her you’re interested!

How do I start training? Get in touch with Tamara! She’s always available for free tunnel coaching, as well as load organizing days! You can also reach out on the ninjas page to find others to train with on any days you’ll be skydiving at Orange Skies.

Will we get extra altitude? Heck yes!

How many planes? 2

Will there be oxygen? Most definitely!

So, who wants to fly in a formation load? Psht. Everyone does.

We are going to work hard to make sure that the time, energy, and money you put into this training is worth it; we are going to get the record. But we’re not stopping with just the Women’s Largest Formation in Colorado.

We are also going to set the Large Formation Head Up record. Oh, and we will most definitely send in the submission this time. We want to build of the skills of our head up flyers in Colorado and get a record in the process.

Again, your questions are probably abounding.

When is it? Also, TBD. In the meantime, let’s talk about preparing for such a radical event.

How are we going to prep? Again, we’re going to have skills camps run by the best. And just like for belly, you can also reach out on the ninjas page to get coaching from none other than Mike and Leland and company to train with on days you’ll be skydiving at Orange Skies.

When are the skills camps? The first one is a two-day camp (Saturday and Sunday) over Memorial Day weekend; sign up sheet will be available soon.

What do I have to do to be in it? You have to prove that you’re up for the challenge. Just like before, reach out to Tamara Bartlett and tell her you’re interested! She’ll make sure your information gets passed along.

What are the stats? Two planes, 20+ people, extra altitude, and oxygen!

For those of you already ready to smash records, we can’t wait to get to it. For those of you still working towards being there, we’re so excited to help coach you to get there!
